Personalized Book and Toy Caddy Box

Kids can keep their favorite books or toys together, carry them independently, and return everything when they're finished with our portable book caddy storage box. Perfect for nurseries, bedrooms, and playrooms, this first book box makes a thoughtful gift for baby showers, registries, birthdays and holidays.

Our Montessori-style storage caddy holds all your child's favorite books and toys in a rainbow, bear, or mountain frame. The caddy can be configured two ways: the internal divider creates two compartments for a forward-facing book caddy, keeping books upright and easy to browse. Or leave the divider out to have one spacious open compartment for blocks, stuffed animals, and everyday play. Check out our Read & Play Book and Caddy Bookshelf to complete the perfect landing spot for your child's caddies in their bedroom or playroom!

Whether it's used for bedtime stories, rotating toys, art projects, or quiet-time activities, the storage caddy helps children take ownership of the things they use most.

Our products are made from locally sourced birch plywood, hand crafted by parents like you in our Kansas City workshop, and coated with a non-toxic, child-safe finish.
We make our pieces in small batches because we make them ourselves. That means your piece gets actual care and attention, not just shipped in from an overseas factory.

What makes this caddy different:

• Two storage configurations: Use as a two-compartment book caddy with the interior divider for upright book storage, or leave the divider out for one spacious open compartment
• Portable and generously sized: Easy to carry from room to room, encouraging independent play and cleanup.
• Keeps favorites within reach: Perfect for books, blocks, stuffed animals, puzzles, art supplies, pretend play accessories, and more.
• Works beautifully on its own or with Bergwood shelving: Designed to fit our Montessori Caddy Bookshelf, Toy Shelf, and our Mini Caddy Bookshelf
• Locally sourced premium hardwoods: We never use MDF, synthetic materials, or low quality wood
• A gift they will use often: A simple, practical, and meaningful choice for registries, birthdays, and first bedrooms.
• Non-toxic finish, child-safe from day one: Our Clear Coat finish shows off the natural woodgrain of the birch, or choose White, Walnut, or our Raw (paint-ready) option to customize with any paint or stain you like
