A Montessori must-have, our classic toddler floor bed is the perfect way to gently transition from crib to big kid bed. Constructed from locally sourced poplar and hand finished with European zero-VOC clear coat, this floor bed is designed to be safe and comfy for years to come.
Start your child’s toddler bed journey as a floor bed with rails on all four sides, including an entry/exit space to allow easy accessibility and foster independence. As your kiddo grows, remove the side rails and add optional feet to raise the bed off the ground, making a true big kid bed. Remove the footboard rail if you like - this piece is adjustable and modular for ultimate flexibility!
Every bed is custom handmade to order in our small Midwest shop. When you purchase a Bergwood piece, you’re investing in premium quality materials designed, hand crafted, and finished by American craftsman in our small Midwest shop. We take pride in what we build and spend the time to build it right. Your child’s new bed will ship within 6-8 weeks from order date. It’s worth the wait.
